I think.. when people are raised to live a life devoid of love or guidance they either never learn to put anyone over themselves or they prioritize the first person to show them even an ounce of affection in hopes to gain the love they have been denied in the past. It’s not an excuse and I agree that the FL as she is now doesn’t deserve the crown prince but I also think that she is figuring out how to survive in this second life without having to give up on what little morals she has started to build for herself. It will take some time but I think this is a good start and more realistic than the saintly cute little innocent fl’s that are typically clueless in most manhuas like this. idk, just food for thought.
