Doing nothing wouldn’t have changed what happened in the past, and something that feels natural to you, it might be difficult to understand that not everyone can do the same easily. When you’re at the top it can be difficult to see how the people at the bottom struggle, even if you know and try to help, it would still be difficult in a different way for both.
Not trynna says Syesue behavior is « unjustified » but it’s not fully « justified » either, and it’s probably what makes this story better. Everyone would get irritated, even if Roena didn’t really do it on purpose, she’s still the center of every bad things that happened to syesue. Keeping her close out of kindness wasn’t a good idea and at some point she knew it, but I get why don’t doesn’t fully understand
