Idk her father is weird, he didn’t know his lover was dead at that time and he agreed to give the Dame the title of Grand duchess, all because he wanted to find his lover, but what position would he give his lover if she actually came back to him? Alright first of all they weren’t official so leah could have still been the duchess and second of all he over thought so much that he thought could he still deserve to see his only lover again and I think we all get that I mean imagine if something similar happened to course you’ll be judged but it’s just things that happened in life and you gotta overcome it somehow duh at least he regretted not going to find and bring them home just imagine his situation the didn’t even know he had a daughter and he found out his only lovers death from the daughter he didn’t even know existed and only just met and his lovers death was coused by stupid brother howed you feel if that happened to you?

ermm.. so like ik that her father loves her mother the most. but the thing is, her father still thought that her mother was still alive, and he still gave the position of grand duchess to someone else. he was willing to marry someone else that wasn’t leah. i understand very well that it’s for him to rebuild his reputation and stuff, but marriage??? srsly? u guys should’ve made it known that u guys were business partners or smthn. i love this manhwa 100%, but it js doesn’t sit right w me that her father claimed that he loves her mother while he was going to marry someone else…

RIDICULOUS. He promised someone to marry w/o even informing Leah?? He promised Dame w/ a binding contract, not just verbal, & already introduced her to whole Duchy…. So, if Leah comes back regardless what she’s technically a mistress.
So he promised Dame bc he is struggling w/ power, but his analogy he make it like he’s also doing it for Leah 😂😂. So, what’s his diff to those scumbags who marry for power or their career? They just beautify it but he’s still a scumbag. Yes, he didn’t cheat EMOTIONALLY but he still CHEATED.

The FL, it’s ridiculous she’s just hurt and confuse but doesn’t feel any hate towards the father. If I were her, as a normal person, I was abused, and I WITNESS MY MOM DIED TWICE…. and after finding his father, I learned he is sitting in luxury and already promised other woman to marry… I would hate him regardless of reasonable reason.

I know it was probably written so that we would view fl as strong and growing out of being walked over but it honestly feels really out of character for her to choose this moment and this person to decide to suddenly stop being considerate and understanding of peoples actions. Honestly, out of everyone so far that could bother to seek her forgiveness, her father seems like the best candidate of actually receiving it yet it’s him that she chooses to withhold it from. I understand that no one is entitled to the right of being forgiven by the person they’ve wronged but in what way did the father actually wrong her? He’s just as much a victim in this as she is. They say we tend to hurt those we are closest to the easiest because we have faith that they will forgive us and this feels really similar to what she is doing now even if it isn’t intentional.
