The charges aren’t cleared yet. And based on what’s been said then prior to the MC possessing Rene’s body the real Rene has allegedly tormented the saintess repeatedly.
But yeah, seems his affection for the saintess is clouding his judgement to the point that he wants his sister to be guilty because it’s more convenient for him to know where the “culprit” is.

hate him for 2 reasons 1 although she’s done bad things… murder is a bit of a jump imo esp with no witnesses or evidence.. being locked up with no evidence or witnesses is crazy.
2 he seems upset at the thought of her not being the culprit (bc he wont have anyone to blame?????)
