It’s funny that Rashta is panicking that she is doing this, here is why. If she gets caught it could mean prison time and a large fine and banishment OR death depending on how high the status of the noble is. And the Duchess is pretty high-ranking. But Rashta has been at the Royal Place for almost a year. She also has heard the rumors of other nobles and how long they last. But she couldn’t stand people talking about her. Even though her being a ” Slave” would have been forgotten in 1-2 months’ time. BUT No!!!! She couldn’t stand it! Now that she has had a taste of power being the “king’s” concubine. She wanted any negative remarks gone. And Duke Ergy knew this and if she did get caught it wouldn’t hurt Duke Egry at all since he didn’t say or do anything wrong. All he did was “suggest’ to take off the rumor and put it on someone else. It was Rashta that targeted the Duchess, It was Rashta who sent out people to spread rumors, and lastly, it was Rashta who actively set out to Slader the Duchess to take any negative rumors off of her. Rashta may be stupid but she knows how to manipulate people.
