I felt this story should have benefited from the easiest to understand actions of the FL. They know that she received a prophecy, thus, anytime they ask the question ” why did she do (insert crazy action here)” they’re immediate thought that it was her trying to fulfill the prophecy delivered to her. She should basically be looked upon everybody. That’s that sees her doing these things with extreme pity.
