“As long as there are people in this empire that need me?” Is she stupid? Does she not realize that because she’s allowing herself to be walked over the disrespect trickles down to the whole family? Like, why would you think that’s okay? You can still be distant from the emperor and demand respect. And the fact that she finds it entertaining is so disrespectful to her own family. You know this is a power play. If the consort side continues to be bold they’ll go even further and guess who won’t need you – the emperor. Guess who’ll replace you – the consort. She was already pissing me off by bot standing up for those most loyal to her, but to not realize that your lack of actions have consequences is just pridefully stupid.
