Man why did they make him lose an arm or can’t they stitch it back? 🥲

To stitch an arm back on isn’t as simple as it sounds. You have a time frame and you have to sew each blood vessel back together or at least the major ones. Plus you have to make sure there won’t be any infection and you need lots of blood to replace what was lost. Although in fantasy they could probably do it with magic. All the same a knight who looses a arm is one who has to struggle and develop in character and fighting.
