I fear phil is actually the man’s daughter, and the blonde isn’t, just a shell of some sort or something. Remember they did say both babies had blonde hair at birth but I’m just guessing

i ahd that thought too… i think philomel is the real Princess and that blonde is the magician daughter since she’s lot of magic too

Unfortunately I think wrong. First off, Ellensia has divine power like the emperor. This was confirmed when they were testing to see if she was indeed the real daughter. Second, Philomela does have the same magic power as the tower master. This was confirmed when he tested for magic power even though she didn’t have much of it. As for the same colored hair, I suspect that the tower master’s hair comes from the amount of magic power. Divine power and magic power don’t mix, but Philomela has been around divine power since after she was born. This means she had no chance to be around magic power enough to develop it. I theorize that if she spent time away from the Emperor, she might develop magic power and maybe her hair will turn lighter. That would make the similar hair color between the babies make sense. However, since Ellensia seems to have changed somehow, I suspect that either she is possessed or turned into something else. I would say that maybe their souls swapped, but Ellensia’s change was too recent for that.
