      I don’t think she officially joined the guild. He said “a verbal contract works too” but without any government binding and a signature she doesn’t have to uphold it.

   Last but not least, he didn’t give any parameters… being “apart” of the guild doesn’t mean she can’t leave since she doesn’t have the same bindings the others do.
