As the third princess of the nation of Ilisha, Alessia is forced into a contract marriage with Eric, a hero from the neighboring country they were at war with, all in the name of peace. Her relationship with Eric, who is always busy with administrative and diplomatic affairs, is cold and distant. For a light read it’s okay. The plot is not really something new, the art is really gorgeous but the Characters are meh. 😅

I dont know how i feel about it yet, It sucks that they have such stereotypical tropes for the FLs in this genre. You know that weak beat up, mistreated insecure and unloved chick. In reality history proves such was not the case for even illegitimate royals, a lot of the illegetimate princes and princesses became strong and powerful rulers throughout history. Makes the story boring until they snap so maybe this one will be better. The ML is sexy and cool though so I will stay for him.

Story is your usual mistreated MC with a ML who is actually obsessed with her but doesn’t communicate type trope. The times where she stands up for herself honestly feels like she’s someone else, she has so much trauma but all of a sudden is able to make threats without batting an eye. If would be better if we can see how she develops a backbone overtime rather than have a backbone whenever it’s necessary then default back to her usual soft self.
