They’ve both failed as paternal figures in Arke’s life, and I’m quite relieved the worst she did was leave.
Look at the way the grandfather reacted when he first mistook Iris for Arke, imagine how Arke had to go through all that. Honestly almost every character I’ve come across sucks, except Iris and the Crown prince
