I think Al is probably the alchemist of gold. Everything seems to point that way. The gold light when she became the contractor/witness, the way the two brothers keep being drawn to her and saying she smells sweet, and even the similarities of her family situation in comparison to the story written in the diary she translated. Idk, that’s just my guess. I think that Aji girl they are trying to get intel on probably works so hard because she’s trying to live up to the expectations placed on her even though she doesn’t have special abilities.
