So she’s breaking off her engagement but she’s still in love with him? I don’t understand. She’s turning down the only decent guy she knows for a worthless creep who does nothing but blackmail, bribe, and threaten her; that is SO cliche, turning down the good guy for the bad boy because she “loves him.” What kind of “love” is that? And he wants to “begin again” after forcing her into a sexual relationship with him? How exactly do you come back from that? Or did they conveniently forget about that? Knowing him he’ll never apologize or feel any guilt for the reprehensible things he’s done to her, what does she SEE in this guy? They reduced her to a heroine who can’t see past a guys looks and overlooks the red flags and his morally bankrupt personality which is really disappointing
