The other guy’s story is intriguing, but I don’t like how controlling he is, even if he regrets the past, I don’t like it, not…one…bit. UNLESS, he’s alluding that there’s been some grand scheme, and everything was a misunderstanding from her pov in some crazy way, but that would take some extremely insane, grand twist to make up for the amount of suffering he’s put her through and his current controlling/imprisonment I still can’t forgive bc imagine how awful & suffocating that’d feel in real life. Ruby eyes feels like he could still be hiding dark secrets cause of his aura at times, plus saying he might’ve been her ruin if he’d helped her sooner (questionably dark foreshadowing), but at the moment he’s winning for me because he’s not locking her up in a suffocating cage and acts like a guardian so yeah…… that’s where I stand lol
