I know she’s a different person & she wasn’t really their mother but.. the thought of her having romantic feelings for either of the boys is weird

I agree… its like if dipper and Wendy ended up together as adults.. (bc even if it isn’t technically wrong it feels weird bc of their previous relationship dynamic…)
except this is WAYY worse bc she was basically a mentor/mother/SAVIOR figure for them so much so that one risked his life to keep something she gave him and the other tends to an entire garden in her memory several years later….
obviously she didn’t watch them grow up so its a bit different, like they only knew each other for 3 years before her death, but still it was enough for her to have SIGNIFICANT impact on their lives when they were like 10.
Its mad weird like if an elementary school teacher or an orphanage director dated one of their students after their college graduation…
