Things that bother me the most about this story… Lying or keeping secrets for no actual reason, and how did she even take the baby if she can’t touch it?

“If the child is alive, there would be no reason for an unnecessary marriage”?? Like really? This is what kinda kills the story for me. They treat the child like it’s an object that allows them to get what they want (which is recognition of Queen-hood for the FL) instead of a person with personhood and value in and of itself. Even in previous chapters, only days after her baby was brutally ripped from her, all she cares about is competition from Garet girl? Really??

I agree @LunaBirch it’s not even remotely realistic to how a real mother would react in that kind of situation. Which kind of doesn’t make sense to me that it’s written this way when the writing for Adar’s grief over her son was written so well? If I remember correctly, she was already starting to go mad from grief before she was being poisoned by black magic. So why was Lucina, who is an empathetic & caring person, written being completely fine just days after her baby was taken from her & possibly killed?
