While Lina is the protagonist of the story, seeing things happening on the villains side does bring things into perspective. Sure, Lina has a lot to learn about customs and propriety but it’s rather irritating that she goes doing anything she wants with little to no regard for others. Lina is selfish and immature. It’s quite disappointing for a saint and supposed female lead. She doesn’t have any redeeming quality thus far.

like she wanted to be a Sterne only bc Seria was one, only paid attention to Callis when Seria was engaged to him but now that Seria is married to Roux and doesn’t even want him anymore, Lina switches up again. like the fck
This feels like it’s heading in the same direction as “Divorcing My Tyrant Husband.” The ostensibly sweet and naïve saintess turned out to be a sneaky snake in that one. 🐍
In short, I do not trust Lina. Also, I despise the callow and narcissistic Callis. 😡
I somewhat get the Marquis point of view in the sense that he saved himself by marrying the saint. The issue I have is that he somehow holding FL to a different standard than himself for being in the exact same situation. Also, he knows that she had no idea that she might die if he didn’t show up, but that she does know that he knew that she might die if he doesn’t show up. Logic dictates that she should be extremely mad at him, but he has completely thrown logic out the window…
