The real murderer should be among the people whose faces we know by now, that’s how all tv shows & series have always worked. My bet is on the grand duke or whatever her dark haired original crush was that found her so pesky!

I think it is someone within the family of duke. prolly the stepmom tryna frame him? other ones don’t make sense but for the blue haired a hole the duke seemed to have ‘motive’ for his death,
think about it the duke killian has nothing against adler for now. Obviously she couldn’t do it herself, but maybe she hired a commoner from millitary (after all commoner’s are not treated well In military. could’ve found one with a weakness like Watson to do so) that may not make sense tho since most commoners who would fit that description were in the military around same time as watson so they’d have an alibi for most murders. HOWEVER since its been established that the knot is common among military it might be multiple people at once!

The knot is also common in Cortina, seeing as that’s where the army got it from. And it was mentioned by the former Duke that the stepmother is from Cortina, so she could very well know the knot, and be involved in whatever larger scheme is at play seeing as it seems most of the people involved have some connection to Cortina. Wouldn’t surprise me if it turns out that that’s the “unknown place” the baker was from.

Wasn’t the grand duke have some Authority in cortina? Everything is really pointing at him right now, he could be working with the stepmom. I think the Duke Adler’s bad experience on the restaurant was because of the stepmother and they had to kill the chef to shut him up and also frame duke adler
