The female lead seems moronic, and she’s definitely stubborn. She could try to dissuade him in a good way and tell him that sometimes she has premonitory dreams, that her sister would die in childbirth if she married him, and tell him something that will happen in the near future, since she knows the novel. Even taking that away, Dylan is a villainess in that book, she’s jealous of her sister, but she adores her in this narrative line. The male lead declares to her. Is she incapable of noticing that nothing is happening as in the novel, and therefore the rest may not be the same?
Now she is going to die in childbirth. No, it doesn’t work like that. The sister was sick, it is more likely to happen, although it is not impossible, she is a different person, she does not even know if she is going to have children. It’s another story. It attacks, but doesn’t like being hit back.
I agree with u @MaDaGo but this is a cliche fairytale therefore all we can do is either continue to roll our eyes at Dylan’s antics and press on or just drop.
