It’s all the parents fault ngl. Cruel still loves and cares for Deon and it’s pretty obvious. But Deon just misunderstood him and hates him because of the fact that he didn’t step in when he got drafted to war (which I don’t blam him for). But realistically, what would Cruel even do to help him in that situation. Nothing that he would have done to save Deon from getting drafted to war would have worked. This fact just makes this situation even sadder man… 😔
