I honestly don’t know if I fully understand the need of some kung of pair.. From what I know, their existence is to prevent their owner to gain mana disease etc. All the negative effects of magic will go to them instead of the main wizard.. I am not sure if only Kahl remembers his past. Seems they were brainwashed to believe that they were made from the main wizard’s mana stone but it seems they were just infused and connected via it. Atleast Estella is very lovely and kind to them. I love how it goes now.

The real thing you should have noticed, is that every chapter up to this one has always drawn them barefoot as children, and suddenly they now have shoes. Is it due to the fact that artist didn’t want to draw toes?
