So they were actually close before.. She might not remembered coz she is not the original owner of that body. And those scenes are not in the novel.

It never said that she was the original owner or not, implied that she had a past life that she didn’t exactly remember and that she knew this was a novel. That doesn’t mean that she’s not the original owner of this body if her first memory starts from when she was “created”
