Honestly, we’re at a point in a story, where if they’re really supposed to enjoy their happily ever after like they should have had after the dragon was killed, then they should both escape to whatever that plane was that had the world tree. They’ve done enough, don’t they deserve to live peacefully (I mean obviously that’ll never happen, this is like that perfect moment where that’s what should be happening).
