misguided is a nice way to put it. Man is corrupted, didn’t want his own apprentice to succeed him, accepts bribes, will willingly leave Gallahan to die without ANY treatment. I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point he gets bribed to poison him.

That doctor might kill Daddy Gallahan as ordef by the stupid older uncle.. Please prioritise daddy Gallahan. There is nothing to loose. Put that doctor to his place. Ditch him indeed. I think maybe the dad will die, though I love him, on the first chapters, the fl got a scar on her knee like she had on her previous life, so if it’s like the “marry my husband” plot, it’s gotta happen to someone, so,for the fl to learn that, the father may not die of the disease but something else around the same time he died on the fl’s past life.
