– Starts with Florentia outside the Lombardi estate, in a pretty, red dress, faced with one of the Empress’ servants getting her beside a purple carriage, saying the empress has sent it to pick Tia up. Tia is mentally smug and goes along to see whatever the Empress is up to.
– On the way the carriage passes by the area Tia saw Perez for the first time and she looks back on it fondly only to wonder when We’re grew up, remembering Perez holding her in princess carry, their faces being close. She immediately blushes and shakes her head, telling herself not to think about it.
– Upon arrival the Empress is there the moment Tia steps out of the carriage. Tia is mentally smug that she is in flawless appearance because the Empress couldn’t do her standard technique about dissing people upon meeting.
– They talk back and forth with the Empress saying how it will only be the two of them sharing a little banquet since they’ll be family soon. Only for Perez to show up right after. Tia had invited him the moment she had gotten the invite from the Empress. “What’s the matter? We’ll be family soon.~”
– The meal goes along with Tia getting under the Empress’ skin by saying how her father is also opening maritime trade with the East since things are going so well in the territory her father’s in charge of.
– The Empress fires back by saying that despite Tia and Perez apparently having rushed to the Emperor due to how in love they were, she didn’t see that connection between them presently.
– Perez immediately made smooth moves that had Tia blushing. Perez then told the Empress that he’d been holding back because he can’t stop himself when he starts, but since the Empress was misreading things…~ (she’s pissed because she can’t really tell him to lay off after her comment)
– Empress has them move onto dessert, serving what she thinks is Tia’s favorite. Meant like “see how much I know about you due to my reach”, she didn’t know she got the wrong cake. Tia has a very different favorite. (The cake was one Lorraine liked)
– Empress then pulls out a green, somewhat ornate box and says how it’s an engagement gift from her to Lombardi/Tia.
– That’s the end of the chapter.
