What a dumb emperor. He had so many chances to be a good husband. He could met her but decided not to before the wedding, told his mistress off for allowing the emperess wear her wedding gown, had dinner with her, made sure she had a budget. No he has a creepy obsession with his mistress that looks like the mom.
Now he going look real dumb. Subjects see her as a magician and is not selfish. She saved them, that old man asked for help gave him money to evacuate people and protect them, the ex lady with the previous emperess and now without money she going to look humble and not show riches so the people of their are going see how kind she is. If she serves the poor clothes, blankets and food she will be above the emperor.
