I agree with you. From the start I was rooting for Leo because he seemed the most steadfast. But it looks like what he wanted is not to be with Erica no matter what – instead, what he wanted was the security and stability that he knew when he was with Erica. Yes, he’s willing to work for it and to wait for her, but primarily it’s because he used to think she’s the main source of the security he wants. Now Juliana also provides that security and stability, so he is tempted by Juliana. It’s not bad to seek safety or security, and you SHOULD feel it with your significant other, but if the source person is irrelevant then plainly it’s not the person you care for, it’s the security, and he would do better to try to seek that stability and security in himself rather than search for an external source. I can see him having a relationship of convenience with Juliana and later grow dependent on her, and he would probably think that’s love. But Erica doesn’t need that from him. She has two other MLs who genuinely care for her as Erica – one who thinks that her friendship is not worse than a romance, and one who considers her to be his most precious person. Why should she settle for Leo at this point?
