It’s not that I don’t get where the servants are coming from. Especially seeing as Halstein spelled it out too. They clearly didn’t know she thought she was going to die, or about her avoiding to return because she thought they’d be hurt/killed if she followed through on returning.

Honestly yes. I would have fired everyone. Because as long as I am the master I pay you work. And since they don’t want to work I would have fired them and taken in new ones. Simple as that. And honestly I’m disappointed with the butler, he should have used his brain that there was a reason she left.
