He was mostly interested in her due to her powers. Even though Asarahn needed her powers that wasn’t the reason he fell in love with her. Doha quitting his potions as head Pope was dumb because it shows how bad of a person he is. Forsake all the people that need him for one person. Whereas asaran still will fight a war for his country and make time for the girl he loves because he wants to make the world around her safe.
