Okay I fully acknowledge it is messed up that he seems to think that way but can we all fully acknowledge that he would tie her up for like 2 SECONDS, she would cry, he would panic and let her go then follow her around like a lost puppy trying to apologize and feeling like crap? I mean literally the next scene he is panicking lol

For those saying this in the comments- I do get the whole dropping it cause they don’t like the obsessive behavior. It IS a toxic behavior, that happens in real life. Even if it’s separation anxiety, it’s still toxic. However, I do understand letting it go for this fictional universe in this instance. It really is about separation anxiety rather than possessing the MC, which I do appreciate more than those that are purely obsessive. Hurting the family- I find it a bit nice that he actually asks for permission instead of just outright doing something you can’t take back like taking a life, just cause someone made you angy. Are these toxic behaviors: yes. But what I do like about this couple (Because I am caught up) is that they try to consider eachother. And that’s why I’m reading through it again XD
I can’t say ‘it gets better’ because I don’t remember all of the points, but for me, someone that really hates possessive behavior in writing and real life- to me it was still an enjoyable read! So I encourage giving it a chance!
