I’m confused? Did the duke agreed to date her for real for 3 months? Or only go out? Why is acting like “she is the only one making the effort” for the relatioship, if there is not a real relationship yet?
She need to calm down even if she thinks she has little time… because he doesn’t know. Plus the priest is too sus

I do agree that the plot seems rushed but thats the point 🤷🏻♀️, and she only have 3 months to live so her cheerful and overly bright personality is just perfect for someone whose been so obedient but now found out she’s dying.

It was kinda funny when she was acting like a real wife, yelling at him for coming home late 🤭 . . . . Her feelings for him are a little overwhelming. But he has never been with a woman or ever had the chance to think he might one day fall in love and get married so he is trying to hold back any feelings he has for her. It’s a little rushed but sweet in its own way. 😌
