I think cliff went to the real and good resse. Not the author who is wicked, the author was sent to the temple or some place like that by the duchess. Hope cliff and the real resse will get a happy ending too. I love if everybody gets happy ending😍😍😍 since our real world is chaotic and stressful, reading something happy will bring happiness to my heart too☺️😉

man im a sucker for horrible people it is kinda sweet in a twisted way that the reeze cliff loves is the fucked up one. i can see a version of this story where the author felt free to be her flawed self and won cliff’s heart anyway. if only she wasn’t so obsessed with being the perfect female lead, she might have found someone who appreciated her true self just like edith. its kinda tragic in a way.
