i don’t get this prince. why is he asking that question? a noble’s responsibility is to protect/govern it’s territory just as a prince has the responsibility to do the same for the empire/kingdom. maybe he doesn’t get it because he doesn’t see any good example from his father. this issue they’re repairing should’ve been easy if he or his father had done their jobs

He’s not fit to be prince. He wants to be the “perfect” puppet monarch because he just goes along whatever anyone says. Even when given the choices of choosing between two brides, one obviously toxic, he can’t think about cause and effect and lets other people do the thinking for him becaise he’ll judt follow what’s “best for the kingdom”.
