I really don’t get it. IF a child guaranteed to bring death and destruction no matter what the child’s own desires and wishes then you eliminate her immdiately or fight tooth and nail to fight fate to the bitter end for a better future. You don’t make the child prolong her suffering live a living hell.
If a negative outcome is not guaranteed then there is no reason to mistreat the child. Even if the outcome is terrible in the end some things are worth fighting for. What is being done to the child is just asking for trouble no matter what.
