I knew it, priests and temples are NEVER EVER EVER good in these stories. EVER!
So sucks too, just once could there be a story where the priests/churches/temples actually be “good”. But as a cliche plot device it is too tempting not to use I suppose, authors take in easy villains vs trying to write up a new type.
