I love the trope where men get jealous of a non-existent person or even themselves. I mean it’s not good to be unnecessarily jealous, but in these cases it’s pretty funny him trying to find an invisible man. In this case though I do kind of agree with him. I still want her to pay of course, but I understand how letting another man pay for your wedding would damage pride and seem a little weird but look at the big picture. We’re shelving it into the council’s face and anything that tears down that Council is a win in my books. Also, you shouldn’t have to sell anything to get married if there’s free money lying around
