Seriously. Like I know I would miss my mom if I was in this type of situation, but at some point you need to just move on. She doesn’t even know interdimensional travel works and like say she does get a gate to open whos to say it’ll send her to the right time and place. Let alone getting back into her old body.

No, she’s just sad that she left her one and only family, crying, missing her daughter. While she was on the other dimension being happy, she’s a little scared that her mother might resent her because she was having a good time on the other dimension while her mother is left all alone.
