I’m conflicted with this duke. He realize that the maids were acting strange around her. He did asked the maids but why don’t you investigate or even when you got married. He is aware of the bad reputation his wife had but never sem to really dig deep as to why such rumors exist or why she is that way. I do understand why she insisted on that divorce. I just felt sad that the child might grew up without a mother if this duke don’t grew a spine. I still hope that they kept translating this. It may seem like a tragic story but I’m hooked on the plot and curious how this story unfolds.
