I felt sorry for that captain before, but now I want him DEAD. How dare him try to use the kids as bait. What he has for the FL is not love, but obsession. The ML seems like obsession, but he just lacks emotion due to what happened to him when being trained as an assassin. But being with the FL reminds him of the happy times he had with his Mother and brings some emotions back.
honestly, I agree with you. the writers purposefully did this to show us everyones side and I think they did this amazingly! If I remember correctly, Jacob Elordi said in an interview once that to play a villain you must understand them and their side completely; while this is a Manhwa and not a tv show its different, but writers who can do this are a level closer to being something amazing because of the character building.
