I’m pretty sure the emperor knows she’s the one he slept with. It’s also possible that he already had feeling before they slept together. Why else would an emperor who seems to hate majority of humanity decide to have a one night stand with a random drunk girl? Especially since she would have been assumed to be a commoner daring to touch a royal. It would explain why he was asking weird questions and acting concerned for her health.
