I’m reserving judgement since Penelope did mention the Grand Duke had seemingly been orchestrating things to make Ahwin(?) look bad in front of “Betty” in order to make himself look better by comparison. It didn’t go into specifics though.

I kind of hate how Ahwen is medlling too much on how she runs things, what gives you the right to interfere in who she should and shouldn’t hire. He acts like he owns her.
