So, thus far:
– ML, the real Duke Otero, wants to break off his engagement with the princess, so he has his half brother being a playboy in his stead.
– The princess in question, besides hating the FL for some reason (jealousy, probably, it’s the most likely stereotype in these stories), targets her boyfriends to spit both on her and her own fiancée.
– The FL is a fallen noble, victim of circumstances, a passive vessel for this power dispute.
I seriously think this very premise is toxic, but let’s see.
