I think she is a kid? Cause in one of the chapters it showed that she knew the future by reading the book that could possibly also be the cat she brought with.
Honestly shock and trauma are processed in different ways so the parts where she’s trying to act more grown up are possibly from that?

I think she said she was brought to this world though? In the scene where the dad found her in the alley with the cat she said she had just been brought to this world. Idk, I think either way the writing style feels really immature. At first I was thinking it might just be the translation but after reading some more the storyline feels a bit childish, almost like badly written fanfiction lol
