I love how everyone has just frozen up in this situation. I’m sure that they’re all frantically running through the gambit of excuses to give this child. Knowing what would happen if it were my family, there would have been frantic shouting, making the kid feel like they did something wrong for several minutes before explaining that it’s the adult’s fault that they even found it.
