fr tho she sacrificed herself for him thinking WHOLEHEARTEDLY that he lowkey hated her. So the petty side of me will think he is in the wrong every time (within reason) if they argue or any misunderstandings occur. I do feel bad for him tho the saintess is the real villain here

I think he hated Seo before they got married. Imagine: they cannot find a matching guider for him and assume no Earth woman can match him as he’s from another world. That means they will have to release him back to his world. But in the last moment Seo – Earth woman – appears and has a perfect matching. So he is stuck on Earth forever.
Surely he will hate her. But after getting closer, he went from hate to love. I wish this part is depictured better though.
