After reading this chapter, it made me think of all the times I have seen people who were over possessive and controlling about their significant other. It absolutely disgusts me that he would force her to stay home and would track her down just to bring her home.

Also, a little out of the blue? Almost like the author needed a reason for the fl to reject him because everything we’ve seen so far could be easily explained by his backstory and a simple conversation. All the sudden this new behavior means he’ll have to earn her back.
Don’t get me wrong, I love these kinds of stories. I just have a hard time reconciling that version of the ml with the one we’ve seen the last 10 chapters.
