Her saying that to Quincy is the pot calling the kettle black. She’d die for the duke, and Quincy would kill for her. Though she’s not as extreme as him, she still puts her projections first. Her drive to make the duke happy from the first timeline erases the desires of the current Duke. IMO it’s giving an I know what’s best for you attitude.
Still, I’m eager to see how this plays out. To say she’d die for him, I really want to know why she fell in love with him and see more of their past — moments where she isn’t just sidelined, going through something, hated, or misunderstood.
