I feel like they’re trying to make me pity his character but I can’t get over what he has done to Ruby.

I knew it, his eyes don’t have light. He was thought the wrong way of “LOVE” (He have his parents to blame for). The reason he liked Ruby is because they had same story. I think he was empathizing, which he tought was/ interpreted as ‘love’. So he saved her and applied the way of love that he was thought, PUNSHIMENT. Although this won’t justify his action toward ruby at this point,… he have caused a lots of problems on ruby and that is unforgivable, no matter what.
If his path was different i bet he would’ve become an amzaing person, great swordsman. This just goes to show how people’s believe are developed or created.
