I love Randal but if his decision to remain chaste on the pretext of “you should not do this with someone you don’t want to” is a load of bullsh¡t. She’s has told him several times! That she wants to consummate the marriage. But he keeps yapping nonsense, and when she brought up the topic that it would affect her honour / authority as the duchess he reassured her that it would not and here we are. He refuses to speak up that it was not her but him that hasn’t consummated the marriage, that he doesn’t want to and now she is the one being dragged. Adorable as his antics were, they’re only annoying and inconvenient right now.
